GREEK WEEK 2017

Theme: How the Grinch Stole Greek Week (Dr. Seuss)

We kicked off the 2017 competitions with a victory. Brothers Sean and Rob Cuda won the Cornhole Tournament. We also took home second place in Egg Toss (Zachary Broujos and Alex Besl), Knockout (Cody Calhoun), and in Coin Wars. John Tomko was voted Greek Week MVP after participating in nearly every event and being our largest contributor in Coin Wars.

Going with the theme of Dr. Seuss, we gave the Greek community our own rendition of “Firework” by Katy Perry as well as a skit starring a Truffula tree played by Ian Henderson. While our Greek Sing and Variety Show performances may not have won any points, we earned a handful of laughs from the audiences, including numerous tweets from the Greek Life Director Mark Starr commenting on our musical talents (or lack there of).

Overall, we took home 5th Place out of the 16 competing fraternities. As we look to next year, we would love any coaching we can get from alumni in Rope Pull and Pyramid!
